Exercise: Creative Color Wheel

Semester 3

Progress:

1. Sketching idea

2. Draw the mandalas

a) making circles, find center and make the partition.

b) sketch the mandalas design.

c) copy, paste and rotate to make sure the design fit. Trace the outline.

d) copy, paste and rotate the outline. Merge down all to make one mandalas.

e) complete mandalas design and references.

3. Complete the dream-catcher design

4. Coloring according to color wheel

a) Leaves in the dream-catcher as the Primary Colors; Red, Yellow and Blue

b) The heart-shaped between the leaves was colored with woven-like pattern using the Secondary Colors; Orange, Green, Purple (Violet)

c) The feathers hanging on the dream-catcher were colored based on the Tertiary Colors which are according to the combination of the color of the leaves and heart-shapes on the dream-catcher. The Tertiary Colors are Red Violet, Red Orange, Yellow Orange, Yellow Green, Blue Green (Turquoise) and Blue Violet.
